Alan has been a member for over 30 years. He was a tour regular after joining the club in 1993. Touring was curtailed when moving to Thassos, Greece after the 2019 tour. Served the clubs General Committee for 3 years from 2000.  Tour Champion in 2009 and again in 2017. An Honorary Life Vice President of the club. Resumed touring when travelling home from Greece in 2026.
