Cecil Wadey

Cecil was born on 8th November 1930 and passed away on 26th October 2021 just a couple of weeks short of his 91st birthday. He joined the club on 2nd April 1984 and was with us until his passing. Cecil joined the clubs management committee in November 1988 until ill health curtailed his day to day involvement in 2017. He served as Captain in 2001 and 2002 and President for 7 years from 2004. Elected an Honorary Life Vice President of the club in 2004 and was club Champion in 1999. Received the clubs ’25 tours’ award in 2009. He toured with us on 32 occasions.
