Where the tour has traditionally started for over 25 years. All members have been picked up over West Sussex and the Fox Inn, Bramdean is reached at 08:45.

Bill Bryder is taken ill at Moretonhampstead in the middle of Dartmoor. Out come the Paramedics to rush him to Totnes hospital. Thankfully he arrived back at the hotel that evening as right as rain.

The Hon. Sec had his toe nails painted as usual before leaving for Torquay. A trophy on each big toe. Susie his Chiropodist / toe nail artist must have known something as just a week later Chris was picking up the trophy as Tour Champion.
