A member for over 30 years and has travelled on 25 tours. A very social animal and can be seen taking a drink with some regularity whilst on tour. Unfortunately ill health has curtailed Graham from playing bowls currently.

A tour regular and incumbent of the famous ‘back seat of the coach’ Roger was co-opted to the clubs General Committee when taking on the role of ‘Committee Benevolent Representative’ in 2005.  After a number of years assisting ‘Big Pat’ in 2014 Roger became the ‘tour bookie’. Roger has now toured some 25 times since joining the club in 1995. Elected Captain at the AGM in November 2015 (and as a result now sits at the front of the coach!).

‘Sheep Head’, toured for the first time in 2006. Seems to only drink, sleep and eat when on tour. Became tour champion (jointly) in 2018. Elected to the clubs management committee at the AGM in November 2019.

Derek has been a member for almost 30 years but did not tour with us until 2008. Elected to the clubs General Committee in 2009. In November 2011 proudly took on the role as Club Captain a position he held for two years. Elected President at the AGM in November 2015 he served two years in that role. He has now toured with the club on 14 occasions.

Norman was accepted as a member at the Committee’s Spring 2011 meeting. Toured to Weston-Super-Mare with us in 2013 and was elected straight into the ‘Pink Purse’ club (Bognor Mafia). Rose to the ranks of the General Committee at the clubs AGM in November 2013 and served for 6 years. Became tour champion (jointly) in May 2018. Always seems to be ‘in a position’ to accept a Gin and Tonic.

A regular tourist for many years until ‘marriage and kids’ stopped his active participation from 2004. Clunky resumed touring in 2012 and made a challenge to reclaim the ‘back seat’ of the coach. Administrator fo the clubs ‘horse racing fiddle’ whilst away on tour.

Jon joined us in 2005 and enjoyed his first tour with us a year later. In November 2006 Jon was elected Hon. Treasurer and has became a hardworking member of the club.  Jon plays a prominent part in deciding where the club will go on future tours – by reviewing all lap-dancing clubs in the area! We all hope that Jon can continue in that role for many years. Tour Champion in 2015. Jon was elected President of the club at the AGM in November 2023.

Richard was elected to the club in May 2014. Richard managed to spend a day with us on tour in 2015 but became a fully fledged tourist at Scarborough in 2016. Richard is the father of ‘sweetie monitor’ Harrison. Elected to serve on the clubs General Committee at the November 2017 AGM. Left the committee in November 2023 because of his work taking him to Saudi Arabia for two years.

Elected a member in early 1984 and toured every year since. In May 2019 he created a new club record of travelling on 36 consecutive tours. Took over from Ken Armstrong as Hon. Secretary in November 1987 and still holds the position today having just completed his 34th tour as Secretary. Captained the club in 2004 and 2005 for the 50th Tour and the 50th Anniversary Tour. President of the club in 2014 and 2015 for the 60th Tour and the 60th Anniversary Year. Responsible for the setting up and administration of the clubs website.
